As you may know, I gave a presentation on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. When I was preparing for my presentation I read over my power point a few times to make sure that I knew exactly what was on it and I also made sure that my game was running, my game was saved in the correct place, and that I was familiar with my presentation. I even went though my entire presentation once the day before the presentation.
The day of the presentation I was excited to meet the head of the Globaloria team. It was nice to meet the people that had been overlooking our games as well as us along the way. I felt that it was an excellent opportunity to be able to present in front of Dr. Caperton, Shannon, and Maitreyi. It was also nice to be able to present in front of the superintendent of our school board as well as the rest of our board members.

This week I haven’t really got that much accomplished on my game. Mr. Cantrell was gone two different days, I was taking a test, and another class had to use our computer lab another day; so as you can see I haven’t really had too much time to work on my game. I do feel that although I haven’t really worked on my game that I have made an adequate amount of progress.

This week we have used interaction (both with using the arrow keys on your keyboard and by clicking the arrows on the screen to make the object move). We also used collision. When we did our collision detection, we made our objects move by clicking the arrow keys on the keyboard and we had our objects to stop when they hit walls. We allowed our objects to bounce back with certain objects on the screen.

This week I have done things such as: using animation, learning how to tween, add a gradient fill, and I also learned how to ease an object. I also used buttons in my work to navigate between frames. I am currently trying to learn how to use interaction properly. I am learning to produce interaction by applying a character on the screen and then allowing it to move with either clicking the buttons that are on the screen or using the keyboard to make the object around. When I am trying to create these objects I have to add codes that allow my character or object to move along the x and y axis; I also use speed.

Finishing Up the First Section
I felt that the games that I played were quite colorful. The games also had good directions and were easy to understand.

Introduction
My given name is Tiffany.
I have nicknames as well but they don't matter.
I have chosen to take Game Design to broaden my computer horizon.
I hope that my game works and isn't too boring to play.
